Why does the US corporate media rarely, if ever, talk about the problem of labor

being offshored? All we seem to hear about on the corporate news (Fox, MSNBC, CNN, ABC... take your pick), is talk simply about "high unemployment," with little if any mention of one of the biggest reasons behind it, which seems to be that the US has been hemorrhaging jobs to China and India for decades. Could it be that there might be a pro-corporate "bias" in our mainstream media (which is just as significant, if not more so, as any left wing or right wing bias that we pretty much all know exists)?

Walgreens is one of the latest:

NEW DELHI: US' largest drugstore chain Walgreens on Thursday announced a 10-year outsourcing deal with India's BPO provider Genpact.

As part of the contract, Walgreens will shift its accounting processes and jobs to Genpact, a move that will involve transfer of at least 500 jobs.

This is Genpact's fourth-large deal in past three months, signaling a gradual bounce back in the global BPO business market

There is no such thing as "US corporate media". And, if you wish to complain about jobs being sent oversees (which is a legit gripe) you can blame it on the labor unions which have caused decades ot inflated wages above the market. Now that we have a truly global economy we cannot compete due to these artificially inflated wages.

Seems simple doesn't it. We need jobs...but keep sending them to other countries....hmmmm??? I don't think it takes a genius to figure out the solution. F the corporations...tax them to hell if they outsource.
