Why does the UK have Sharia Law courts?

Because their government is run by pussies who are letting the Muslims get a foothold, because they don't realize that some day the Muslims will take over completely.
 
Wait, I'm confused, what if a Muslim doesn't want to go through the Sharia courts?

I am a Muslim, and I very much disagree with Sharia law because no human is divine enough to interpret it by God's will. I don't live in the UK, but if I did and was forced there, I would be pissed. maybe some of the financial and marraige/divorse stuff isn't a big deal, but domestic violence...

we've seen what Saudi Arabia's interpretation of Sharia is...a women gets raped, and she gets jailed. An 8 year old girl is sold to a 60 year old man for a wife, and the mother of the 8 year old isn't able to file a divorce, and child cant either until she reaches puberty. Not only does this make Muslims like me look bad, and have a harder life, which I'm just trying to live like any other person, it can't be questioned or challenged because its their version of what God says.

Perhaps for the same reason they have had the Beth Din (Jewish Courts) in the UK for a hundred years or more. Because there is a demand for it. Nobody is forcing you or anyone to use religious civil arbitration, but for those who want it, why shouldn't they, as long as no law is broken?

I haven't a clue why we've got sharia law courts - if they come to our country why can't they blend into our culture rather than building their mosques everywhere and choosing to set up their own legal arrangements. they don't interact with the uk culture at all - it's the softy softy liberals that only talk in politically correct language. I'm fed up with it and fed up with the huge numbers of asians we've got here/ Nothing personal of course - I'm just cheesed off that our country is turning into the worlds dustbin - and the government is happy to pay our taxes to keep most of them here.
