Why does the our culture push interracial relationships?

Before any haters have hissy fits on me, I am simply asking the question. I am astonished at how much the "owned" media push this lifestyle like it is a good thing. So many other cultures are taught to stay with their own race, why do American's feel compelled to follow like sheep what the media dictates? Is it trendy to date someone outside your race? Why do the Latino, Chinese, Korean, Jews, Indian, Japanese all stay with tradition and keep with their own? Why when Whites do this are they called Nazi and racist? Is there anything wrong with wanting to be with your own kind?
 
1) There is no such thing as race in science. Genetically speaking, saying that a White & a Black are 2 races, is almost like saying if a mother has twins & because of a genetic variation one twin comes out with brown eyes and the other with blue eyes, they are different races

2) To actively work to segregate people based on external features, is to imply that there is something inherently inferior about one group
