why does the One Show start at 6.55? but is on guides as 7pm?

I know this is probably a sad question but why don't tv guides and such like advertise it as 6.55pm when it clearly always starts earlier than 7pm?

I thought The One Show's running time is 1858 to 1926 with the following programme 1928 to 1957 which allows the 60 second news headlines to run at 1958?

Most of The One Show viewers probably watched BBC News before it so it makes no odRAB. I can't see many people making a point of tuning into The One Show.

I know what you mean but sometimes they have guests on specific fans of that guest may want to see the full show but miss the beginning
