discussions of Obama's War? http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/36836.html
Thanks to the deliberate leak of General McCrystal's memo calling for 45,000 more troops (and yet many of this president's apologists tell us that he isn't escalating the War), the media has opened up a new "debate." In the bizarro world of the media, the only 2 options on the table are whether we should increase troop levels or whether we should keep them the same.
Does anybody notice the options that are excluded from this alleged "debate?" Of course, those options are the ones supported by the vast majority of the American people. Either reduce troop levels or just bring them all home NOW.
When will the "anti-war" activists who put this president in office awake from their hibernation and demand that their "anti-war" president end his War on Afghanistan? It definitely seems like most of the leftists who pretended be "anti-war" when the president was a white man from Texas with an R after his name are unwilling to apply the same standards to "their" president.
What is more important? Protecting a pro-war president or ending the War?
