...Upper Class children? I can understand the argument for providing free education to poor children whose parents cannot afford to send them to school, but why do we have this system of one-size-fits-all government schools available to all children and require parents who wish to choose other options for their children to pay twice for their education?
Shouldn't we just shut down the failing government school monopoly, allowing it to be replaced by private schools and provide vouchers solely to poor children whose parents cannot afford to send them to school? Wouldn't that make alot more sense than the current socialized education system? Why should taxpayers be forced to subsidize the education of middle class and upper class children? Why should parents who wish to send their kids to private school or homeschool their kids have to pay twice for education?
Why isn't there more of an outcry for this unjust education system to be changed?
