In past, the check engine light never came on until I took the car into the shop to replace the steering rack. When I picked the car next morning, the check engine light came on. I took it back and was told that it was due to battery being disconnected while they worked on the car. It will go away.
The check engine light did go away, but resurfaced next day while I was in other town. I checked the engine and it looked normal to me (including radiator and etc..). I do not feel anything funny while driving...
Can you tell me what is wrong with it? Perhaps a minor something? or was the mechanic corrected that it will go away due to battery being disconnected?
