It skips when it is cold like early in the morning. Is there any way to stop this? It is very annoying.

REALLY MINE DOES THIS 2 I DONT KNOW WHY THOUGH NEVER REALLY THOUGHT ABOUT IT HMPH. BETTER LUCK! MAYBEY THE RADIO STATION JUST DOSNT PICK UP AS GOOD WHEN ITS COLD.

maybe your cd player was asleep. I mean c'mon, if you were a cd player and some guy woke you up all early in the morning when it was cold and suck a cd in your mouth would you play right?

Because it iscold outside, you use your heater. Some of the heat gets trapped inside your dash and causes your CD player to get too hot, causing it to skip.
