It shocked me to hear that Taco Bell adds trans fat (the synthetic fat-like additive) to their bean burritos and other items on their "Fresco" (not necessarily healthy, but healthier) menu items.
I'm sure it has something to do with $$, but I would think that most folks would rather pay an additional $.25 per item to leave the nasty trans fat out. (It is almost like adding plastic to the burrito as a filler.)
