Why Does Obama Not Trust Americans Who Are Against His Health Care Reform?

He seems to believe that Americans are somehow being brainwashed by groups or the media not to trust. Why can't he believe that Americans are informed correctly and trusted? Obama's mentality seems to be like a communist mentality that finds excuses not to trust their people.

In Obama's speech on election night in Illnois, he said he would listen to people who disagreed with him. He is not doing that.
 
Because most of the people who are against it are horribly misinformed, KNOW that they are hearing lies and STILL go for them, exhibit a shocking amount of hate, and are generally sad cases who will vote against THEIR OWN SELF INTEREST as a matter of principle.

I don't trust you either. Hell, you don't trust me, don't trust the left, so how are you any different from this "communist mentality" you speak of (which, by the way, makes absolutely no sense at all. there are more survivalist conspiracy theorist nuts who don't trust anything than "commies").
 
Because they are regurgitating the lies, smears and distortions of Teabagger Dick and Rancid Rick (Dick Armey and Rick Scott). The objections are not real and are based on politically structured lies the purpose of which is to confuse the elderly. Death squads = Barracuda's delusion.
 
It's not that he doesn't "trust" us. He's afraid of us. The American people have discovered what is really in the bill and others (like me) don't even accept the premise of government run healthcare. He knows this.

Why else did he try to ram this through in a couple of weeks before congress went back home to the people they work for.

This is nothing about health care and everything about control. Obama want's to build "monuments" to himself.

Seriously, why is anyone surprised by this blatant power grab ?

From reading many comments on this site, I proclaim the Education reform is a much more pressing matter.
 
A lack of trust is not a "communist mentality". Your insinuation suggest that you do not understand what communism means.

Sour grapes.

You were aware at the election in November, that if he won, he would initiate health care reform. You had the chance to block that by ensuring that other candidates were elected. The majority of Americans did not ensure that he didn't win.
 
Americans are not infomed correctly. They are
being mislead by Republicans who just can't stand for Obama to do something right as it not
their idea's. They want credit for it.
 
He is upset that the the people have taken a page from his play book and now the tables are turned. If people cannot see that Obama is two faced, they must have some sort of mental defect and all the accusing Fox of being bias for showing video clips of Obama contradicting himself does not change the fact he contradicted himself. (in most circles at least one of those speeches would be considered a lie, the question is which one)
