I have a 1999 Dodge Caravan where I have an issue where the Serpentine belt keeps slipping off. It's a new belt so I don't think the issue is a worn out or broken belt. I have checked the owners manual and the path that it should follow is correct. I looked while the van is running and it looks like the belt is sliding back and forth across the idler pulley but not to the point of it coming off. I has happened to me a few times and it only seems to happen when it rainy or wet out side.
