Why does my Windows Media project stall at 31% when I try to Save As a movie.?

I tried this several times, even with the lowest quality but the green bar just stays at 31 or 32 percent if I'm lucky. I once even took a nap and it was still at the same place. Can someone please help.. Thanks a bunch.
