Why does my spedometer on my 1995 Mercury Sable shake and move on me?

I believe that its also off by about 5-10 mph also. but when ever i am on a smooth road it doesnt do this but as i take off and when ever i hit a bump the little dial in side my car moves back and forth and you can hear it shake. if there is anyone or a cars technician that could give me an answer and an estimated price on that, that would be great.
