Why does my Samsung Impression have no service?

It was workin a couple hrs ago, and now it has no bars, and says emergency calls only when i try to call people. If i text it says service unavailable. How can i fix this? did i accidentally hit something that turns service off? Ive tried turnin phone off and taking sim card out, but it still wont work... I put a diff sim card in and it wont work either... Please help
