Why does my samsung freeform says "no battery" when I try to charge it?

-_- iHave the samsunq Freeform nd- ihts does the same thing . but what i did to fix iht was i let iht turn off because of no battery, nd- then i plugged iht in , then when the thing said charging i left iht along for a min, then i took iht off so i can turn iht on because now iht had like a a bar or so (mine charges fast (: ) then i plugged iht back uhp so i can use iht .
 
Whenever i plug in my samsung freeform, it says "no battery" even though there is a battery. Why does it do that & is there a way to fix it?
 
With your phone powered on, connect the charger to the phone. With your phone unlocked, press and hold the END key to power off your phone. The phone will now shutdown and then restart to the charging screen. As soon as you see the screen with the battery and the word "Charging..." under the battery, press and hold the END key to power on the phone. This must be done before the phone has a chance to display "No Battery".
