he was teething, but the adult k9's are almost all the way in, his breath has improved but still has a fishy hint to it, i look in his mouth and everything looks good, i brush his teeth, give him freshen breath dog bisquits and feed him high quality food

well i have to say... its puppy breath! it smells not normal but not horrible, me and my mom always think puppy breath is cute! but id watch out if i were you, hes gonna be teething soon! dont worry its a growing process, itll go away, even though i miss my chihuahua having it wanna know why? because it smells much better than breaths dogs have when older!

My puppy always smelled like burnt milk i dont know why but i went away when she got older. so i think its alright. if not then you sould take him to the vet and get it checked out.

During teething periods in a dog, they usually stink like death. It's normal because they have bloody holes where their teeth fell off and the blood and blood plasma start to get some bacteria.

When all the teeth are in (especially the back where it's hard to see), his breath will return to normal.

It's nothing to worry about, my dog's mouth stank when she was teething too. It should be gone by 8 or 9 months.
