why does my psp freezes and then restarts only on certain level of one game?

i was playing Smackdown V. Raw in the game mode and it froze just when Jeff Hardy was about to win the ECW championship. it restated and i played it over, thinking its a one time thing. but then i get at the same place and it does it again! i have played all my other games with no problems. is it the game or the psp? what can i do to stop this? should i get a new psp?
