I have been running the pc with no virus protection which is silly i know but i didnt understand the importance of it. Now everytime i try to download something it turns itself off and reboots which means that i am unable to download any anti virus software. I have tried system restore but on reboot am told that the system could not be restored. I have also tried deleting cookies, tempory internet files and defraging but to no avail. I have considered that it may be overheating but the vents are free from being blocked. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks
