Why does my pc keep logging me out on chat forums?

Im a member of a few different forums, such as football chat forums for example and for some reason it keeps logging itself out after a few minutes. It only does it with my desktop PC and not my laptop. This happens on all my forums so it has to be some sort of setting in XP perhaps.

Any help?

your pc is older than your laptop and more protective so it doesnt want u talking to dirty old men
