Why does my mom need to know whether I'm having sex or not?

im 18 and my mom always wants to know whether ive had sex with my boyfriend. i have. i lost my virginity when i was 14, but she doesn't have a clue. So, you see, ive got a pretty good judge of what not to do and how to protect myself. i told her its none of her business and im old enough to make my own decisions but she just won't drop it. Why does she feel like she needs to know? What benefits would she get? im already on bc, so that doesn't make much difference.

it was MY decision to sleep with him at 14. Just because you don't agree doesn't make it wrong.
its not i feel i need to hide it and i just feel like its any of her buisness.
 
your're her daughter she is just curious. there is no real reason why she needs to know. if u think she will be cool about it tell her but theres not a real reason to. its ur life not hers.
