Why does my girlfriend get pain and burning after unprotected sex?

I have been with my girlfriend now for about 6 months. I am not sure when this started but she complains about pain and burning after sex with me. She never had it with anyone else, and it only happens after I ejaculate. Then a few minutes later it starts, can last for a few days or even a couple of weeks. She says she has an infection then, and thats really all she tells me, that its hurting burning and its an infection again.

I know a few of the options already, and of course I am already scheduled to have an STD test, but with a waiting list of 3 weeks, I am of course very concerned in the mean time. I havent had any symptoms of STDs and no sex without condom for 2 years before her.

Looking forward to hearing from people with experience of this or someone who knows what they are talking about :)

is it really my sperm? I was worried it was an STD that I had no symptoms of. Actually I am not sure whats worse here. :P
 
It sounds like she is allergic to your sperm. It is not uncommon but not fun for your sex life for sure. Women can be sensitive to one man's sperm but not to anothers. It sounds like she's the one that needs to see a doctor. In the meantime, wear condoms until you (and her) get tested.
