Sometimes my dog whines when my husband picks him up. And I mean not just whine but screams! How can we stop it, I don't think he is hurt because he never whines when I pick him up.
It's possible that the dog doesn't want your husband to pick him up. I think he may view your husband as a threat, because he may be viewed as an alpha male.
