beause they probably used the pan ealier to cook some fish
note:if your allergic to seafood or shellfish this can be bad..have a freind that always ask the waiters to make sure to inform the cook to start with a cleaned pan...or one that was only used for chicken that day etc

Because they fried your chicken in the same deep fryer that they fry fish in. They are not suppose to do that. I hate it when that happens, sometimes my fries from McDonalds taste like fish... yuck.
