I'm usually at work, but the last week or so I've been at home. He whines and complains about everything. He jumps on my lap. He jumps off my lap. He walks around muttering. He has food. He has water. His litte box is clean. I pat him when he comes over. He has 3 stuffed mice. He doesn't look sick. He was given to me about a year ago and he came from the pound where he was rescued and raised on kitten formual by bottle. He doesn't look sick. Why is he such a pain? Is he just mad that I'm home? Or confused?
PS. I had surgery but I've been getting up and making frozen dinners and he's taken care of. I just haven't really left the house much Do you think he knows?

Obviously I must be acting somewhat strange with the double posts lol

Does your cat whine and cry when it's time to feed him?

If so, this sounds like my Sebastian. The moment I walk in the door he is "talking" to me. He thinks dinner time is as soon as I come in the door. If your cat is like Sebastian, then he's probably just confused. He'll eventually get used to you being at home, but until then just give him as much love and attention as he needs. Its obvious he love to be around you. : ) Good luck!
