why does my car stereo sound better when the temp. outside is warm?

isn't that weird? when its cold outside my car stereo sounds tinny and stale, and when its like 70 degrees+ it sounds rich and smooth and the bass is much fatter...is it a speaker thing? or do you think there's something wrong with my speakers? i mean, it sounds great either way, but it sounds a frillion times better in hot weather...what could this mean

This is a common thing my system is the same way and it cam easily be explained.
This happens because in colder weather the voice coils in your speakers and subs tighten up and everything becomes more rigid which lessens the mobility of your components as they create sound
when everything warms up your components get looser and they're easier to be pushed by the power coming from your amp, less resistance always translates to better sound quality and volume.
Hope this helped
