i just bought an Alpine CDE-102 and installed it in a '97 Jeep Grand Cheeroke (the one that has the infinity gold stock system) but this already had an after-marker stereo so i think that they already by-passed the amp. I installed it all except some of the wires didnt match. i was left with one pink wire (car phone) and a blue/white wire (i cant remember what that is). but i dont think those wires mattered to the actual playing. i turned on the car and it turned on fine and everything and when its on Tuner it plays fine. but when i switch it to anything else it doesnt play at all. i tried a CD and my ipod from the AUX input, USB, and the back iPod cord. i have no idea why this is happening . i dont think its a wiring problem cus it plays from the tuner. but i dont really know. i dont install that often. can someone help?!
ps. another thing i was worried about when i fade it all to the back it still playing quietly through the front speakers. why?
