I drive a 1990 Ford Thunderbird and for some reason my engine gets too hot too fast. Do I need to add coolant? Do I need to accelerate slower? Is the temperature outside causing it? Will my car blow up if my engine is too hot? Plz answer my questions!

check coolent, if that is ok, then the radiator may be bad. Happened to me and I blew the engine because I kept driving it like that. Expensive mistake, don't let it happen to you. My water pump went on mine.
