every time i cycle and im goin at a high speed my bike slows down 2 quick its not like friends bike his carries on except mine :( what can i do ??

It probably needs adjustment by a knowledgable person that knows how to get the most from your bike. Shop time.

It could also be that the bike is of poor quality and just "can't" do any better.

Pump up your tyres

Make sure the brakes arent rubbing

Maybe its the bearings in the middle of the wheel that are clogged up with dirt or something?

I assume you mean during the 'drifting' part where you are not pedalling?

Well, it can be due to a few things, or a combination there-of.

Your brake pads might be slightly too tight and skimming your tires, thus slowing them down significantly all of the time.

Your wheels might need to be oiled up around the axle.

Or your bike could just be of a cheaper, heavier material, that isnt designed to 'glide' for long periods of time, and your friend might have a better bike made of more light-weight aerodynamic material.

Check your tire pressure, make sure your brake pads are not rubbing. Lift the wheel off of the ground and give it a spin. If it doesn't spin very long the bearings may need repacked and adjusted. If the pads rub in one spot the wheel needs trued.
