I have a 99 Jeep Cherokee Sport that has an ear piercing squeal sometimes right after starting and always whenever I turn on my A/C or heat. It comes and goes frequently. If I leave the A/C or heat off then it doesn't squeal at all. I was told it could be the A/C pulley bearing or A/C clutch bearing (is that the same thing?) and I was also told that it could be the A/C Compressor which could be expensive because I would have to flush the system and replace the A/C Condenser also. Could it just be the A/C pulley bearing or clutch bearing? Thanks.
