Why does my 49cc giovanni pocket dirt bike randomly stop when im riding it?

well when im riding my 49cc gio pocket dirt bike the engine goes super powerful for about 15 seconds then randomly just STOPS. im using 87 fuel with 2 cycle engine oil 25:1 and my air filter hasnt been cleaned yet. sometimes whgen i start it up itll go for 3 seconds really really powerfuly then shut down.
 
its probably a little too cold out ... the engine has to be hot in order for it to work... and i think you should use a little more oil
