Why does my '04 Pontiac Grand Prix crank up really weak?

I have a '04 Pontiac Grand Prix and when I go to crank it up it acts like the battery is dead until I try again then it cranks up. I took it to auto zone and had the battery charged but the problem continued then I changed the alternator out but the same result. I think the battery has a dead cell in it what do you think?

your car needs a new battery you wasted your money on the alternator. week starting is a sign of a battery that can't supply enough amps to the starter motor.

Did Autozone charge the battery and test it? Since your vehicle is 5 years old, it is time to change the battery. The auto manufacturers put batteries in their vehicles to only last 5-6 years.
