Why does marijauna have weird names?
why does it have weird names like Purple Haze and Blueberry Yum Yum? and how do they name them? by the seed or the plant?
 
if by "weird names" you mean other things like Weed, dope, grass, herbs, etc it's so that it's less obvious to people around you about what you're talking about.
Saying "marijuana" is a lot more alerting than saying grass in a conversation
