Why does Law Enforcement attract so many bullies?

I am a disabled person and a civilian employee of a Law Enforcement agency. I, along with my fellow disabled employees, were told to vacate our handicapped parking spaces to make room for the public. Of course no one will complain because no one wants to lose their job in this economy. For the first time in my life I was kicked out of a handicapped parking space that I have the legal permit and the Federally guaranteed right to use--and this was done by LAW ENFORCEMENT. Why does Law Enforcement attract so many bullies; and why do the majority of you LEOs who are decent always protect those bullies with your silence and unquestioning obedience?

It's quite simple. Once a member of law enforcement, you have power over everyone, sort of like a bully. People are scared to challenge you due to your power. Also, it is incredibly difficult to have a police officer fired. They have a long-lasting power that is very difficult to strip. Every month if you pay attention there will be a national report of a corrupt police officer or one who uses his own prejudice in his enforcement. Sorry you had to deal with a power thirsty cop. Just remember, it isn't all of them, but unarguably there are many just like the one you had to deal with.
