Why does history keep repeating itself?

For example- the new micheal moore movie said that Capitalism is evil.

Look at JonesTown.
Look at North Korea
Look at Venuzela
Please no Obamahating or whatnot.
 
the cycles of Fortune never stop. A poor man becomes a rich man only to lose his fortune later on in life. Everything is mutable and subject to change, thus history repeats itself.
 
I think it's because there have always been and always will be a large segment of the population that believe everyone else owes them something. Socialism, which is the end result of this kind of thinking, has always failed because the burden of caring for all the lazy people becomes too much for the working class to carry. This will keep happening because people who think like Michael Moore will always be around, and there will always be a group of people willing to see the country fail as long as they get something out of it. Heck, if I keep getting taxed to death and the price of my groceries keeps going up, I will actually make more money if I come up with some phony 'disability' and get on food stamps and Medicare and Medicaid. If it weren't for my morals, I would have quit my job and sponged off the rest of you already........it's more profitable...that's why history keeps repeating itself. People get more atheistic, and as a result, more willing to sponge of others.
