Why does full screen freeze in flash?

Every time I look at a video. I click the full screen button and it freezes but the sound still works. It also functions well. I don't want to turn off hardware acceleration.
I got 3 gigs of ram and I'm watching Youtube videos mostly.
 
because it puts too much load on your ram
it only happens if you have a low ram
