It just doesn't make any sense. If you try to feed meat to a rabbit, he won't eat because he knows it's bad for him. If you try to feed a carrot to a cat, he won't eat because he knows it's bad for him. And everything in between. Why doesn't this work for people? Like sugar and excessive fat and stuff like that.
(Yeah I know, sometimes pets will eat weird food. But I think that's because they just get used to eating whatever their owners feed to them.)
