I have 2 goldfish and for some reason, the bubbles from my filter seem to gather in the tank and create this foam ( and after observation, the bubbles seem to not pop instantaneously but rather in around 2 minutes). I have also been changing the water 20% because the fish were sick, and i am wondering, could the overdose of the chlorine remover be the problem? ( the very slow flowing kind of chlorine remover). I have also noticed that the foam has a very lot of small yellowish chunks of some sort of thing. (possibly fungus?). The foam also not only is gross, but it somehow regenerates very quickly, usually in a matter of 30 minutes a foam ball with small yellowish chunks forms. I am not sure if this helps, but when i cleaned and collected this foam off the water, i mixed in steaming hot water and it dissolved quickly.
