Why does everyone blasphem and treat the FSM Pastafarians as a joke?

We Pastafarians dont treatother religions like that. Why cant we just all get along as equals?

We can't expect equality, but can only strive for it. As devout Pastafarians, we don't care what others believe. We, however, are treated as a joke, a "parody" religion! Don't they know that any signs of parody or sarcasm is purely coincidental? It says so in the Gospel of FSM.

Because Pastafarianism is peaceful. Older religions insist they're right but their insecurity makes them attack. Compare the ten commandments with the eight "I'd really rather you didn'ts" - see what I mean?
