Why does every DreamWorks character raise one eyebrow

Of course, there are bigger problems with their films, such as the fact that 90% of their jokes (which aren't that funny to begin with) become dated references after two years, but it is rather annoying.
 
People generally are attracted to this quirky facial expression. It's given when someone is skeptical or implying something. I, myself, find it funny. ^^
 
Funny thing, when my sister and I saw Dragonball last night, there was a particularly horrible promo for Sobe (the one with the football people) and as soon as the blob from 'Monsters vs. Aliens' appeared, she made a groaning noise and was like "Dreamworks will whore out to anything these days!"

They're just as bad as Disney was in the 90's when it comes to consumer crap too.
 
I always thought that an eyebrow up signaled a case of confusion or heavy thought:

Ofcourse, it could be a mediocre way of showing attitude or Dreamworks trying to differeniate themselves from Pixar, the eyebrow\grin thing looks like a face that you'd give a woman if you were trying to be sly.
