Why does European countries doesn't play cricket?

Like France, Spain, Germany, Denmark, and Italy.. All of these countries are fairly close to UK.

Why is that china , Thailand, Bhutan , Vietnam, Malaysia doesn't play because they are close to India..don't be a noob ..they all have recognition and play cricket but not at big stages

It really should be a mandate of the European Union. Their currency is artificially over-priced, so let's play for worthless Euros.

cricket is long duration sport.
soccer finishes in 1 and half or 2 hrs.
in cricket you need larger ground than football
more equipments like helmet pads gloves batt stumps bails etc are needed for cricket.
