Why does ESPN rarely ever broadcast any soccer games?

Its really rear when they broadcast any soccer. Not even on sportcenter, I'm so tired of hearing about all the college games every time I turn on sportcenter...They don't even broadcast any of the MLS games...I swear I saw the national speeling bee on espn. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they rather show things like that, poker, billiards, and a bunch of other ridiculous crap.
Whats your opinion on this?
