Sorry I forgot to vote best answer for last question. Will this time.
The car will start immediately when touched with battery cables (jumped off). Will start everyday there after, as long as it's "started everyday". This would be why a mechanic can't find what's causing the problem in a Shop. However, something is draining the battery, if left for 24 hours or longer without starting. There is something wrong. Please help.
It's not the battery.
The alternator doesn't whine.
There doesn't seem to be a problem in the starter.
The rear tail light is out. The trunk light is out. This car is good condition for it's age.
**The old one I replaced was testing "good", but it was almost 5 years old. Bought a new one. Same problem. Something would drain the battery dead. Nothing comes on..not even key in ignition....."it's so dead". Tried another new battery. This didn't fix the problem.
