Why does 2002 Honda Accord fishtail?

Got four new tires, balance and aligned. Once the tires were changed, the car started pulling like it wants to fishtail, this is on smooth dry pavement. It does not have happen all the time but a lot, at speeds 50 and above.

The mechanic says it the suspension. I don’t think it’s the suspension cause the car didn’t pull or fishtail before the tires were changed. I had him to re-balance the tires and went over the alignment numbers with him and they appear be within the specs.

The fishtailing does not give me a safe feeling when driving. Any advice or thoughts?

If you car is fishtailing: (back end is sliding around)
Check your tire pressure
If the car is vibrating, the tire could be skipping across the pavement because its unbalanced (they don't balance with the hubcaps on) or the tire or rim is not round anymore

If it is just pulling one way you might have a messed up break on one side

It sounds like they might have messed up your alignment. If a car pulls one way and the tires have equal wear and are equally inflated the next thing to check is if they aligned it correctly... Keep in mind... mechanics are people too... and people make mistakes... especially when they hurry, and who hurries more than mechanics?
