Why doe the mainstream media call Obama black?

Fact: He is bi-racial.

According to some news groups, if you criticize Obama you are

racist, but how is this possible when he is half white. Unless

you can be racist to one half of him and not the other.

I'm sick of the race card, it is the media who always call him

black and shove that 'fact' in our face. Isn't that a form of

prejudice? Why does his skin color matter so much?
 
He's hardly what I would call balck, he looks more spanish or mulatto..so it's really wierd everyone calls him black..like almost white is the only acceptable shade of black to be in the white house, then if we don't like him we're racist. I can't believe so many people bought his baloney.

Because it appeases their conscience. It is obvious that the Main Stream Media is fawning and adoring "The One" as Oprah likes to refer to him. So it make them feel all warm and fuzzy inside to show the world that " See we love the BLACK man.....we go gagga over the BLACK.....ohhh....aren;t we open minded?".

In short the main stream media are full of simple minded idiots!!
 
i think he is considered black because,the law once was that if you had one drop of black in your DNA,you were considered to belong to the Negroid race.i personally don't care what race he is as long as he does a better job than his predecessor.

Why should color matter if we're always told 'it doesn't matter if anyone's different'? We should look at him from the point of what he has done, what he's doing, and what he says he'll do. Whether he's black, white, biracial, whatever, it shouldn't matter.
 
I say Obummer is an idiot because he is. Race or color has nothing to do with it. And if you call me a racist because I feel this way then you to are an idiot.

That is the way I feel about this subject. And I have gotten into heated arguments because some idiot couldn't understand that.

Yes, he is as much white as he is black.

America does have race issues (I have lived there and seen it first hand, so don't thumb me down and deny it people).

It should not matter, race or colour. He is an AMERICAN. That is all that should matter to the people. An American, leading the American people.

With all the talk of designer dogs, I'd not be surprised if in future all leaders were designer people.

All future Presidents of America must adhere to a strict code where their genetic makeup must be within these guidelines :
1/4 Black
1/4 White
1/4 Latino
1/4 Mixed race, Native Indian, Chinese, Asian, Islander etc
(pleas hear my sarcasm in this last paragraph)
