Why do you think some people prefer to discuss the flimsiest on non-issues?

and avoid discussing the major issues that have serious impact in the lives of americans?.....almost as if they would rather the debate over who should be president to be decided on anything other than real issues and even if you bring up issues and speak of them in detail, they just quickly change the subject and would rather hurl insults or make fun and jokes of a very serious subject matter?
 
Because they haven't the brain matter do do anything else, you can tell they are early teenagers,
