Why do you think God used many "authors" to write the bible?

One reason in my opinion was because God used different people to cater to different audiences. Additionally, the bible shows the different experience/relationships people had with God. If God only used one person to spread His gospel, it wouldn't be as affective in my opinion. For example, the stories about Moses doesn't isn't as interesting as the stories about Paul. I love Paul because he had this attitude about him. He also reminds me of me! Many Muslims look at this as a bad thing, however, it's a good thing in my opinion. So why do you think there are so many authors?
I don't understand why people would rather ONE person to be responsible for writing the Bible. To me that makes no sense...hint hint: "MUHAMMED"

Having many different people tell the same story, as in the four Gospels, helps corroborate the events. If you could only find one person to tell you about the character of a person, the events that took place, and what someone said, it would not carry as much weight as 8 people telling you...

It is because many different people had views on the way you should live your life and morals. they are all extremely good ways to live so they put them all in. However some writings wernt used because they repeated the same message from jesus. each author has heard about jesus' teachings and written down there interpretations or jesus' stories adding a conclusion or morale of the story.

God knew exactly who He wanted to write each section. God makes no mistakes.

The writing of the bible stretches over quite a long time so it would have had to be written by many. God knows the end before the beginning so He would have had no problem whatsoever in choosing who He wanted to be the human hands to His authorship.

The Bible itself tells us that it is God who is the author of His book.

God does not leave us with just claims of His divine handiwork in the Bible, but also supports it with compelling evidence. The design of the Bible itself is a miracle. Written over more than 1,500 years by vastly different writers, yet every book in the Bible is consistent in its message.

The odds of that happening without God are low. Different personalities show through, as do different styles of writing.

Because the bible is just a bunch of stories stolen from other religions. The authors got to pick and choose which ones they thought were believable.
