I have owned a HUMMER H2 since 05. Its been by far the most comfortable vehicle I have ever been in. I bought it for the same price as a new Tahoe. I get 11/15 mpg. This is for a 9,000LBS vehicle! Last week I went on a trip to the beach. I drove my H2 (9,000LBS) with 5 of us in it and my friend drove his 04 Ford Expedition (5,000LBS) with 4 people in his. I followed him, we both drove cruise control at 65 to 70mph. I got 14.5mpg, He got 13mpg! I don’t get it. So many people dislike the Hummer for its cost, size & fuel but don’t realize how many other smaller SUVs or Trucks get the same gas mileage. Yes the Ford is $10,000 cheaper, half the weight. BUT you get none of the luxuries of the H2. Its drives and rides like a BMW. Luxuries, Tight steering & smooth.

I have been to many different events including: car wrecks, fires, floods, search and rescues and provided MY time, money, & vehicle to assist loco and state agencies. Think about every life that has been saved from a Hummer owner because other vehicles CANT go through the same amount of debris and/or flood waters.
So please, Stop hating all the Hummer owners because of a few of them.
