This question is not meant to be sexist.
Is there a evolutionary reason why women tend to complain more? Perhaps something that dates back to the cave men era? I figure back then, the females would 'complain' to the males so they could get their needs and probably because they weren't physically strong to do many things.
Does evolution have anything to do with it?
