Why do women like to make men jealous then complain about how jealous he is?

The only answers I have gotten was "we like to know you care" or "we are testing your love". But it seems to me that some women are willing to drive their man insane over getting a reaction out of him. Is it that important to make your man jealous to the point he wants to leave you, just so you can "test his love"?
