I congratulate every one of my female friends and family when they have their baby/babies.
I have given birth to two girls, My first was with an epidural in a major hospital and she was 8 weeks early. We were both in hospital for 8 weeks. I know for a fact delivering a tiny baby is not easier.
My second was no drugs, my daughter was triple the size of her sister, she had the chord around her neck so tight they had to cut it just to get her out but before she could come out her shoulders were stuck. I tore all the way down and can't tell you how many stitches I had.
My friend has had 3 babies and all her labours where very very fast, all were average size babies and she had no pain meds. But I know for a fact fast labours are all the stages of labour rolled into a couple of hours and there was no time for pain meds they told her or she would have had them.
My cousin has 3 babies all big boys. She had a natural delivery with forceps to get her first out. Her others were all Cesarean after that. My other cousin just had cesareans. I know for fact that having a caeser is not fun especially when you have other children. You can't drive, pick your other children up, do housework and exercise for a while after- It's major abdominal surgery. I do not think that anyone's birthing experiences were easy whether they be vaginal, casarean, drugs or no drugs or assisted delivery( forceps, vacuum).
So I would like to know what you think and why.
